How to Use This Course Welcome to Food As Medicine Food is one of the most powerful tools you have for changing your health. Every meal you eat sends a message to your body. Some foods tell your body to build, repair, energize, and heal. Other foods can increase cravings, fatigue, inflammation, blood sugar swings, and weight gain. This course is not about perfection. It is not about punishment. It is not about following a miserable diet you cannot sustain. This course is about learning how to use food as a tool — a tool for better energy, better health, better confidence, and a better life. Inside the IGC Health Hub Transformation Games, food is one of the 8 F’s. When you improve your food, you improve more than your body. You improve your fitness, feelings, fun, faith, family, finances, and future because better health gives you more strength to show up in every area of life. How to Go Through This Course Go through this course one lesson at a time. Do not rush. The goal is not to collect information. The goal is to apply what you learn. Step 1: Learn Read each lesson and understand the simple concept being taught. Step 2: Apply Choose one small action from the lesson and put it into practice. Step 3: Track Notice your energy, cravings, digestion, mood, and progress. Step 4: Stack Wins Keep adding better choices until healthy eating becomes normal.
